Memorial Day

Let's not forget the real reason of Memorial Day. Memorial Day not only commemorates the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the U.S. military but also serves as a reminder of the toll that war and service can take on mental health. Many veterans struggle with mental health challenges such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and anxiety as a result of their experiences. Recognizing and addressing these issues is an important part of honoring their sacrifices and supporting their well-being. Additionally, Memorial Day can be an opportunity to raise awareness about mental health resources available to veterans and to promote understanding and empathy for those who may be struggling.
